In Electricity I, we will focus on residential wiring procedures. Students will learn electrical safety and hazards, including an introduction to the National Electric Code. Materials used in the classroom include electrical devices, boxes, conductors, and cables consistent with applications in residential wiring. Students will use drawings and schematics provided by the instructor to construct circuits. Meters and test equipment will be used in troubleshooting, safety, and diagnostics of circuits.
